WiFi and Will

I’m probably too old for that now...my ship has sailed”

Many people create a new career in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s and beyond! I've had the privilege of helping them gain the clarity and confidence to take their first steps.

Universities have people enrolling in their 'third age', for the degree they never managed to do earlier in life.

As an example, ballet companies are making more from running adult ballet classes than they do from performances. People want to indulge their passions, try new things, even if it means being imperfect at them. There is a level of permission and acceptance (and let's face it 'a market') for this to occur that wasn't so apparent before. And, since COVID times, there are many more options to do live or recorded classes online, even learning from elite company artists from around the world.

You can start wherever you are, learn, and get better. Get a mentor - they can be younger or older, it does not matter! Read 20 books on the subject. Study via MOOCs. Launch a website. Learn a language. Start a social enterprise. Sell your time, expertise a product - or someone else’s product, online. You CAN learn or get help - and there is plenty of help out there. You have vast life experiences to draw from.

Avoid regret.

It’s never too late. There’s a world of opportunity, for those with WiFi and will.
